Based on the best-selling, award-winning novel by Mark Haddon, the story is told from the perspective of Christopher John Francis Boone, a fifteen year old from Swindon whose mild autism means he can't quite understand what people are thinking. But he does understand numbers and possesses the most enquiring of minds, so when he discovers the body of his neighbour's murdered poodle Wellington, he sets out to find out who did it.
