My friends and I were so horribly disappointed in the very short concert . We recognized 4 mediocre songs , not any of his famous songs . I kept waiting for Harvest Moon , unknown legend , Old Man among others , no we just got a garage band sounding acoustic mix that didn’t mesh together . The biggest disappointment was no large screens . We only saw what looked like lighted stick figures . No interaction with the audience , he never introduced his band . It was a cold feeling, like we weren’t there , he was just jamming in the studio. Even at the end I kept thinking after a little more than an hour playing , this can’t be done , People were leaving , some were booing. Then the encore , they just jammed one song , no singing 2 or 3 songs we knew . I have never gone to a concert before where I felt so let down . We were leaving the grounds at 10:15! I have seen The Stones, Eagles , Heart plus many more , where the stage sets were a piece of work , such energy that got the crowd engaged and the big screens showing it all so you could see . We could have stayed in the parking lot and just sat in our car and listened ! Save your money , unless Neil decides to use the large screens ,like all other major productions, the crowd will not feel engaged. I wish I would have taken the time to have read the reviews at the California show . Very disappointing , to say the least . ,

He either doesn’t know his audience or more likely doesn’t care. It’s a crowd of nostalgia seeking 60 year olds who want to hear his catalog of hits. Saw him in Bristow, Va. How is it possible that he played NONE of the following: Old Man, Needle and Damage Done, Down by the River, Harvest Moon, Cowgirl, Southern Man, Ohio. Most of crowd was on their feet for only a few songs..,.Cinnamon girl, Like a Hurricane and Heart of Gold. Also no video screens to see better. The sound was good, voice was good but overall VERY disappointing.

7th time to see crazy horse Neil would not let crazy horse unleash except for a few moments which I very disappointed and glad I only sat in the cheap seats. Didn’t miss much

1.0 star rating Cindy from Seattle, Washington via San Francisco

Soo disappointing! We paid $700 and flew to Seattle from San Francisco to see Neil Young. We were hoping to hear more of his amazing songs from his 50 years of great music... I believe he maybe played 4, maybe 5 of his not so popular hits. The rest was from his new music which did not he put together with his new band ( Willie Nelsons son) a electric guitar solos... We were not impressed and so bored... We were soo sad after concert, as we were looking forward to this concert!

Wow. I have never been so disappointed. Neil Young incoherently mumbled his way through a number of songs that were mostly unknown or unrecognizable. The one-man show was almost completely devoid of energy, and those looking for any nostalgia (old stories, old favorite songs) would have been completely disappointed. A sad farewell to a legendary career.

1.0 star rating Earthling from San Diego, California

I was so excited to take my wife to San Diego from Scottdale and see Neil Young. Neil what’s your favorite planet? It’s not Earth because on Earth people want to hear your old hits. I’m so sad.

I love Neil, but he must have forgot who was paying the tab for the concert at the Greek theater on Monday. He only played around 4 songs that I recognized. I would never have went if I knew it would be his b.s. decision to play what you never heard before. To me, it is very unprofessional to do that to your fans. I live pretty far a way, so very unhappy. I would never see him again.
