Why see Paul McCartney?

The Iconic Paul McCartney

Love, love me do, you know Paul loves you (and all of his fans!). With a musical career spanning over 60-years and including countless industry awards, Sir Paul McCartney is one of the most iconic musicians of our time and needs no introduction. An accomplished songwriter, bass player, activist and producer. His achievements cross musical, and philanthropic spheres and help give him such a wide-reaching appeal as a musician and human being.

A Live And Let Die Legacy!

Since parting ways with The Beatles in the 1970s, McCartney has focused on developing his solo career as well as collaborated with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Society. His concerts are usually packed full of his usual mix of solo material, tracks from his time with Wings and of course, the best of the Fab Four. Across his extraordinary career, McCartney has collected an impressive array of honours, including 18 Grammy Awards and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice - both as a member of The Beatles and as a solo artist. He was knighted in 1997 by Queen Elizabeth II for his services to music.

As I have grown older, I can truly appreciate the talent of all the Beatles and how lucky am I to witness and experience a true legend performing live. May God Bless Him and thank you for letting me experience a legend live on stage. ... Read more

Missed

I can't believe after the recent Gayle King story on the Queen's Jubilee, prominently featuring Paul, and his friendship with Her Majesty, that he didn't take the few seconds required to do the short ditty about how "Her Majesty's a pretty nice girl, someday I'm gonna make her mine". I wondered if he thought, as Americans, we weren't that into the pageantry going on in the UK, over the weekend, but I think we would have appreciated the timeliness of the imaginative piece and would have enjoyed seeing him seize the opportunity to remind us of the lighthearted humor that the simple little recitation represents. ...
