A musical journey like none other!

Not your typical Broadway musical, The All-night Strut is a high-kicking larger than life celebration of music from the Thirties through to the post-war boom. In two acts, four talented actors and actresses from Phoenix Theater will take you on a musical journey that takes in a plethora of the different styles of music that came to prominence during that era, without any linear narrative to slow it down. The show features best-loved standards such as In The Mood", "Fascinating Rhythm", "Hit That jive, Jack" and "As Time Goes By", performed with gusto and accompanied by dazzling dance.

The action weaves across prominent cities of the world with songs and dance between the two couples conveying their love affairs, lives and the musical style of each particular locale. Things get steamy in the Deep South, while Harlem conjures up smooth jams, and mournful ballads from wartime London. The pacing is flawless throughout, with each change in era and style moving seamlessly without jarring, providing a playful feel, as well as putting new spins on the works by noted musicians that include Frank Loesser, Duke Ellington, Johnny Mercer, Cab Calloway, Fats Waller and of course, the Gershwins!
