Daddy Long Legs At The Phoenix Theatre

The Phoenix Theatre Company present their version of Daddy Long Legs! A sweet rags-to-riches tale about artistic expression and self-discovery, this musical is based on the classic novel by Jean Webster, and boasts a book by multiple Tony Award winner John Caird (Les Miserables).

The story follows orphaned girl Jerusha Abbott, an aspiring writer who one day receives an extraordinary letter. The author of the latter, who wishes to remain anonymous, would hate to see her literary talent go to waste, so he will pay for her to go to college. Her new benefactor's one condition is that she will write them a letter once a month. Will the identity of the letter writer ever be revealed?
