Imagine the scene: the apple of your eye, your darling daughter, has grown up and fallen in love with a marvellous, kind young man from a well balanced, respectable family. Sounds perfect, right? Not if you're a parent in the Addams family.

Wednesday - daughter of Mr and Mrs Addams - their beloved Princess of Darkness, has grown up and fallen in love...with Lucas, a sweet young man from a respectable family. And, to make matters she's invited Lucas and his family over for dinner.

In a night of eccentric, morbid hilarity (much of which is initiated by Uncle Fester's requests for help from the family's ancestors) family secrets are revealed, relationships are tested and Morticia, Gomez, and the rest of the Addams Family have to contemplate something they've resisted for centuries: change.
