Based on the classic 1947 film and incorporating a wondrous mixture of traditional holiday music, original tunes and a smattering of 40s style radio broadcast nostalgia, Miracle on 34th Street is a celebration of the magic of imagination.   Kris Kringle has landed the plum role of Santa at a big New York department store and he's so convincing in the role, that a competitor store encourages a cynical world to question his motives.  To save him from humiliation and disgrace he's going to need a Christmas miracle!
