Every album that the Mexican quartet released after this one is just as good, but Re was the one that redefined the rules of the game.

Why See Cafe Tacuba?

Don't Miss Cafe Tacuba's 25 Year Anniversary Tour

One of Mexico's most recognisable rock music outfits, Cafe Tacuba formed in 1989 and has enjoyed an impressive longevity over the decades thanks to fearless innovation and experimentation. The alt rockers will be headed out on the 20re--ct25 Tour this Fall to perform their 1994 breakthrough Re in its entirety and celebrate 25 colorful years together.

On the forefront of the Rock en Espanol movement, often used to describe the marriage of rock music and Spanish lyrics and vocals, the band is said to have written the book on progressive rock in the Latin music world. Showing no signs of slowing down, their high-octane shows will stoke the fires of their iconic legacy for years to come.
