Fantastic. I’m 76 and I wish music didn’t have to be so loud, but that’s the way things are now. But not Much would keep me from attending joe’s concert in my city—phoenix. Voice and guitar just riveting. I was very, very sad about the breakup.
A lot better!
Phoenix - Joe B was tremendous. Started on time, played approx 2 hours, newer songs, classics, changed guitars, band incredible - everyone loves Reese, even the “fill in drummer†for Anton Fig was excellent. Amazing evening. Saw him just after Gary Clark Jr - these two are carrying the blues mantle. GCJ was top notch - go see him! Back to Joe - this was a power packed show that was one of the hi-lites of my fall concerts. BUT I am going to share that I also traveled to see Joe B in San Diego at Humphries 18 months ago - he said he was injecting some country greats into that tour. Well it wasn’t some it was almost all and it was not enjoyable at all. Some people actually walked out and after the show there were a lot of shaking heads - this October show at Comerica was Redemption for Joe B and for me. His 2nd to last song in the encore on acoustic guitar was stunning - reminded me of a guitar player from the UK years ago - John Martin - one guy on an acoustic guitar opening for Yes.

This is my 3rd time seeing Joe and the outside venue was the best! The sound was great! Very loud as usual but heard every note! Amazing guitarist! Wish he had of brought the sax and trumpet along. Overall I'd recommend seeing him if like guitar and blues sounds. Cheers to Joe!

Blew My Mind!
First time to see Joe Bonamassa and I tell you, I was not disappointed in the least. It was good for my soul to watch and listen to him play that guitar. It's like they have a close and personal relationship that cannot be broken. I sat in the 3rd row, center which could not have been better. Let's talk about those backup ladies, wow! The drummer was awesome and the man on the organ/piano, I got a kick out of watching him play and he was having such a good time, not to mention the base guitars. The whole band was so tight. It was well worth the money I paid. The Smart Financial Centre is the only place to go see a concert. No seat is bad and the sound system is great. The only thing I can say negative about it, my one cocktail was $33.00!
